Join us for an intimate evening of storytelling.
Mikvah is the threshold separating the unholy from the holy. Immersion in a mikvah signals an elevation in status. Its unparalleled function lies in its power of transformation, its ability to effect metamorphosis. Four women will share their mikvah stories.
Think of this as a Jewish women's, 'Moth,' evening. Mikveh stories will be shared by Judy Kaye, Lauren Baer, Gina Gabai and Vicky Rotkow. Their experiences range from monthly use, to immersion before Yom Kippur, to after other life changing events. Please join us for what promises to be a meaningful conversation geared for all ages and all affiliations. I guarantee we will learn something new and hopefully inspiring. We’ll learn about the power of this Jewish water ritual and the various ways in which it is used. Wine & snacks will be served.
