The 7th day of the Hebrew month of Adar is both the birthday and death day of Moshe, Rabbeinu. Our tradition teaches that it was God who buried him. Therefore, the Chevra Kadisha (the Holy Society who care for Jews after death) gather on this day to raise awareness of their work.

About the Event

The 7th day of the Hebrew month of Adar is both the birthday and death day of Moshe Rabbeinu. Our tradition teaches that it was God who buried him. Therefore, the Chevra Kadisha (the Holy Society who care for Jews after death) gather on this day to raise awareness of their work. This year, the 7th of Adar is March 16th/17th. Please join us at the Felder home on Saturday night March 16th at 8:15pm to learn more about the Chevra Kadisha and Jewish practices and beliefs pertaining to the journey of the soul after death of the body. A preview of "From One Life to the Next Life! The Sacred Journey after Death."
