About the Event
I am excited to invite you to a Tu B'Shevat seder with Ellie Bass from Toronto and Lauren Shaps from Ottawa. In the Middle Ages, Tu B'Shevat was celebrated with a feast of fruits in keeping with the description of the holiday as a "New Year." In the 16th century, the kabbalists instituted a Tu B'Shevat seder in which the fruits and trees of the Land of Israel were given symbolic meaning. Once you RSVP we will send you a list of fruits to have and the Zoom link to join the Seder.
